CloudOPS/DevOPS Engineer – Samsung Knox
**General Description**
General Description: This is a great opportunity for a talented and hard-working Devs OPS/ System admin to work on develop and maintain CICD pipeline, cloud environment setup and developer tools Come join the Samsung Knox team and help us define and develop, enhance and maintain Cloud services for devices like smartphones, wearables etc. Responsibilities Include:
* Work closely with developers and other staff to resolve developer build, environment and code deployment issues
* Build tools and systems to improve the time to market of our products
* Support continuous integration workflow, deployment of software through the pipeline to production, and monitoring of software and infrastructure in production
* Write tools and scripts to provide automation and self-services solutions
* Provide hands-on engineering, administration and technical support
* Help evangelize DevOps culture as you collaborate with team members around the globe
* Work with cutting edge tools such as AWS, Redis, MongoDB, Nagios and ELK (ElasticSearch, Logstash, Kibana)
* Help automate continuous integration using tools like Jenkins
**Necessary Skills / Attributes**
Experience Requirements:
* BS or MS in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
* 5+ years of hands-on experience implementing and supporting developer build and deployment environment
* Hands-on experience and in-depth knowledge working and managing Git
* Hands-on experience developing and maintaining CICD infrastructure
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Solid experience in designing, building and deploying scalable systems, including security, high availability and operational requirements
* Strong scripting/programming skills in one or more of: Shell, Ruby, Python, Node.js, Go, Perl
* Strong knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases, like CouchBase, MongoDB, and MySQL
* Experience preferred with Amazon Web Services
* Hands-on understanding of AWS, Terraform, Ansible, Apache, Tomcat, HAProxy, Jenkins, Maven, Docker, Elasticsearch, Memcache
