**Job Summary**

The Camera Hardware Module Test Team is responsible for developing new and novel test methodologies & solutions that can be used in mass production to guarantee the quality of our latest camera modules. These solutions will be used during New Product Introduction (NPI).

**Key Qualifications**

* 5+ years of relevant experience

* Strong electrical/computer engineering and mechanical engineering skills

* Excellent knowledge of methods used for functional testing of microelectronic and/or optoelectronic devices and sub-assemblies

* Experience in developing and qualifying test equipment for mass production, including measurement system analyses, tolerance & sensitivity analyses, GR&R, machine buy-off processes, etc.

* Good working knowledge of test equipment automation software, MATLAB, C/C++, Python, and/or LabVIEW

* Self-motivated, independent, and proactive

* Excellent communication skills, leadership skills, and project management skills are a must

* Ability to work well in a highly cross-functional and fast-paced environment


The module test engineer role has the following goals:

Collaborate with different teams to create, define and document appropriate test metrics and test specifications for new camera technologies

Define test methodologies capable of measuring the desired performance characteristics with the accuracy and precision required, with the speed and small footprint required for a high-volume mass production factory environment

Work with vendors to deliver measurement systems to factories on time, before build events

Support bringing up, debug and maturing of the measurement system during the NPI cycle.


MS/PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Optics or equivalent

**Additional Requirements**

Travel to both Apple and suppliers' facilities will be required for product development and production bring up.
